The sculpture was designed for an art in architecture competition for a new police shooting range and practice area.

A path made of dark steel, 10 cm in width, runs in three levels that are connected with staircases. There are junctions, dead ends, wrong tracks and detours.
The sculpture invites you to wander along and follow the path. You can take the neutral position of an observer. Getting close however, you can experience the confusing situation.

The significance of a decision, the responsibility resting on any officer and the weighing of many factors are the main topics as in the facility, policemen are trained to quickly judge whether or not to make use of their weapon.
